Capabilities & Facility
Built for Production, Large Parts and Technical Coating Work
PPC combines preparation, coating, testing and logistics in one 75,000 sq. ft. Toronto facility so manufacturers can manage the complete finishing process through one production partner.
PPC has operated since 1997 and is structured around industrial work that needs repeatability, part handling, preparation discipline and documented quality control. Feasibility is confirmed from the actual part envelope, weight, substrate, specification and production volume rather than from a generic maximum-size claim.
Facility capability matrix
| Capability | PPC facility |
|---|---|
| Facility | 75,000 sq. ft. Toronto production facility |
| Production | Five production lines supporting repeat and project work |
| Automatic line | Heavy-duty conveyor production for suitable repeat components |
| Batch handling | Batch systems for large and heavy fabricated components |
| Surface preparation | Mechanical cleaning, abrasive blasting, stripping and chemical pretreatment |
| Pretreatment | Five-stage automatic spray wash with iron- and zinc-phosphate capability |
| Application | Electrostatic powder, fluid bed and specification-led specialty coating processes |
| Quality | In-house inspection and testing with third-party testing available when required |
| Logistics | Packaging and shipping support for qualified projects across North America |
Five-stage preparation before coating
PPC's automatic spray-wash system uses more than 1,500 spray nozzles, with chemical pretreatment selected around the substrate and performance requirement. Parts may also require stripping, mechanical cleaning or abrasive blasting before coating. The preparation route is confirmed during technical review.
Production paths
Automated production
Best suited to repeat components where racking, line loading, colour schedule and consistent process control can be planned around production volume.
Automated coating services →Batch & large-component work
Used for larger, heavier or lower-volume fabrications that require individual handling, masking, inspection and process planning.
Check part feasibility →Confirm the part against the facility
Send drawings, dimensions, weight, quantity and the governing coating specification for a technical feasibility review.
