PPC contribution
Large white trellis components, 2022
A Neighbourhood Landmark, Down to the Details
Everest Park serves a growing residential community in North Oakville. Among the public-space features incorporated into the project were large white trellis elements. Professional Powder Coating contributed finishing work for those trellis components in 2022.
A white architectural finish creates a clean, consistent look across prominent outdoor structures. Achieving that appearance across larger metal pieces calls for attention to geometry, visible surfaces, part handling and finishing specifications.
Why Outdoor Architectural Metalwork Demands Planning
Large-format components
Trellis sections can present long members, connections and difficult handling points; planning begins with actual dimensions, weight and lifting details.
Visible white finishes
Evenness of appearance and careful protection during transit matter on high-visibility architectural installations.
Outdoor service conditions
Weather, moisture and seasonal temperature changes should inform the coating system and pretreatment specification.
Public-realm coordination
Municipal and landscape construction schedules require finishers to coordinate with fabricators and installation teams.
